Chapter 26

Taylor’s POV

The clock struck 7, and I made my way to the agreed-upon restaurant. As I stepped inside, I scanned the room, searching for Grant’s familiar face. And there he was, waiting at a table with a warm smile that instantly put me at ease.

As I approached the table, our eyes met, and a surge of happiness washed over me. This was a new chapter, a chance to embrace the present and leave the past behind.

As we sat down and engaged in conversation, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the chance encounters, the twists of fate, and the people who had entered my life guided me toward this moment. It was a reminder that sometimes when we least expect it, life has a way of bringing us exactly what we need.

With each passing minute, the initial nervousness faded, replaced by comfortable ease. I felt a genuine connection with Grant, a shared understanding, and a sense of companionship that made me excited for what the future held.
