Taylor’s POV

I couldn’t help but burst into laughter at Mavi’s suggestion. The idea of pretending to be his girlfriend seemed both absurd and hilarious to me.

“You’re kidding me right?” I asked, still chuckling. “You want me to be your fake girlfriend?”

Mavi’s expression turned serious as he nodded. “No, I’m serious. Denise keeps visiting me, and I thought if she knew I had a girlfriend, she might back off.”

I continued to laugh, finding the situation too comical to take seriously. “Alright, fine. Date me then, but just in front of Denise.”

Mavi’s eyes widened in surprise. “For real?”

I nodded a mischievous smile on my face. “Sure, let’s have some fun with it. But remember, it’s all pretend.”
