Taylor’s POV

“Hey, Taylor,” Mila said softly, taking a seat beside me. “I just wanted to say sorry for what Denise did to you. She never changed.”

I looked at Mila and smiled, placing a hand on her arm. “Mila, it’s alright. I appreciate your concern, but I’m fine now. Really.”

Mila let out a sigh, her eyes filled with a mix of relief and regret. “I should have known better than to bring her into our circle. She’s always been this way, especially to Mavi. I thought she changed already, but I guess I’m wrong.”

“I got annoyed to be honest when she pulled my hair since I just got my hair done,” I laughed to ease the tension.
