Taylor’s POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, and as I groggily reached for it, I saw Yumi’s name flashing on the screen. I answered the call, my voice still laced with sleepiness.

“Hey, Yumi. What’s up?” I asked, stifling a yawn.

“Taylor, where are you? You’re not at work,” Yumi exclaimed, her voice filled with concern.

I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes to clear the last traces of sleep. “I took a leave today, Yumi. I just needed some me-time, you know? A break from the daily routine.”

Yumi sighed on the other end of the line. “You could’ve at least told us beforehand. Mavi and I were worried when we didn’t see you at the office.”

“I’m sorry, Yumi. I didn’t mean to cause any worry. I just needed a day to relax and recharge,” I explained, feeling a tinge of guilt for not informing them in advance.

Mavi’s voice chimed in from the background. “Is everything okay, Taylor? Do you need anything?”
