James sits down on the couch, a good distance away from Dylan.

I pull Dylan away from him and hit him lightly on the arm. "What is wrong with you Dilly? Do you want to scare away the love of Lily's life?"

"Come off it, I went easy on him. Besides we needed to see how thick his skin was if he stood a chance of going out with our Lily"

"Our Lily?" I ask, rolling my eyes at this delusional man.

I go over to ask James if he'd like a glass of water, or maybe wine.
