For a moment we all just stand there in silence. James with a concerned expression on his face, Lyra looking like she might burst into tears, and Lily looking at me like I've gone mad.

Maybe I have, I feel so angry.

Whatever happened to being "logical human beings who know how to communicate?"

Where on earth was the communication when he decided to take his ex home for dinner without letting me know? So he can inform me about a business deal I have nothing to do with, but a meeting with his family I'm not privy to?

I feel my anger roll off me in waves, causing the room to thicken with tension.
