(Dylan’s POV)

"Fine. Go ahead I'll meet you." I turn to face Vanessa. " I don't know what kind of delusional world you're living in, but from what I remember your rings were found, and you even got apologized to at the end of the day. When I get back I don't want to see you here. Get out."

"Dilly no, I just wanted to help you. She's no good, I wanted to warn you about her"

"Didn't you hear him? Get out!" Layla yells, pointing a finger at the door. She's shaking with anger, and I know some of that anger is directed at me.

"I think it's best if you leave right now Vanessa" Dad says from behind me. I didn't even know he was awake.

"But...Harold" she whimpers. "I was only trying to help"

Dad shakes his head. "Leave, Vanessa."

She sniffs and packs up her things to go. "The deal is off" I say instinctively. Ava was
