Chapter 10

Camille came down the stairs a while after Mateo and Tallulah had gone to get the groceries.

She went to the front door and looked outside surveying the large environment before turning and heading towards the kitchen.

"Cam".

She heard her name and stopped in her tracks. She swallowed and managed to put on a fake smile before turning.

"Ma'am".

She called and walked towards the lady.

"What brings you here on short notice or no notice at all if I dare say".

"Oh Cam, you're same as always but I remember you being less older the last time we met".

The lady smiled and walked further into the house leaving Camille where she was standing.

"Plus, it's not my arrival on short notice. I did make it known I was coming". 

She looked round.

"Where's Theo?"

"He's not here". Camille replied going to her. She had to make sure this woman left

 before Mateo and Tallulah got back.
