Chapter 39. First Date

Bree’s POV

I put my things in a different room, but I knew I would hardly be there. Today was Sunday, and right now I was getting ready. Hayden was taking me out on our first official date, but he wouldn’t tell me where.

I put on a white trouser and a black crop top. I packed my hair up into a messy bun, leaving two strands on each side of my face. I wore a sliver backless and earrings before putting on my burgundy flat. I put on very light makeup; I didn’t want to end up looking like those girls in a horror movie.

I smiled at my reflection, looking satisfied and pleased with myself. After getting one last glance at myself, I left the room and walked downstairs to meet Hayden. My breath hitched when I saw him standing at the end of the staircase. He looked so handsome. He had on a white shirt with a black leather jacket and black jeans.

“Wow. You look beautiful…” He says that, and I blush.

“Thanks; you look great also.” I said, and he chuckled.
