Chapter 27
Dinner turned out better than I could have planned; Amanda enjoyed the food, and I, in turn, enjoyed Amanda's company. After we finished eating, we stayed chatting about our lives, and that's when I realized she was a much more incredible woman than I had initially thought.
They say opposites attract, but allow me to disagree because while Amanda and I were by no means identical, we did see the world differently compared to other people. We could summarize it as each one complementing the other's personality.
She wasn't just beautiful physically; she also had a soul that I personally considered brighter than the sun. Her conversation was stimulating, with no gaps, and even though she appeared shy and inaccessible with other people, with me, it was the opposite. Words flowed from her like an endless spring.
