Chapter 28
The sound of my alarm woke me up the next morning, and I was a bit disoriented, struggling to string more than one thought together. I got up, sitting on the bed, letting out a yawn. I couldn't remember how I had gotten to my apartment; the last image I could conjure up was getting into Emiliana's car the previous night. A silly grin spread across my face as I fell back onto the bed, covering my face with a pillow.
