Chapter 26. Judgment

Maze’s POV

Uncle Benjamin was not happy when he came rushing in guns blazing. Mom and dad calmed him down before Kiara and I reached the living room, but he was up and angry again the moment he saw his daughter. Her eyes were still red and puffy, and she must have told him at least some of what happened that day, because the next thing I knew I was pressed up against the wall with his hands around my neck.

Luckily for me I am his King, and one fierce growl from Havoc and he was forced to submit. Kiara screamed at him to let me go, and then screamed at me for making him submit. I just raised an eyebrow at her, and shook my head in slight amusement. I reach for her hand, pulling her to me and kissing her head.
