Meanwhile, Serena only looks caught in between one taunting Kris and one indignant Kane.

 But then again, she’s been friends with these two for nearly two decades now, Serena is so used to it. 

She’s actually so done with them. 

Somebody help her, please.

Though she silently but strongly agrees with Kris on this one, Kane indeed looked the most adorable when he’s all pouty and sulky.

After dinner, Kris and Kane both take their leave from the mansion. 

Though they have regular sleepovers at the head pack alpha and omega’s house, hell, they even have their own rooms there, they both make it a point to return to their own families. 

Especially now that Serena’s parents are out, they all just didn’t want to send the wrong message. 

Since, you know, they weren’t exactly Serena’s mates yet.

Besides, Serena also enjoyed the quiet time by herself, saying that he uses the nighttime to read a book or to tend to her g
