Lola's POV

     I looked away and tugged on Lyla's hand so we could move away from Adrian's sight. Of course, he wasn't going to choose me, what was I thinking?

   It just happened for a moment that Jasmine felt connected to his wolf and I happened to be affected too. He was quick to lose focus when that gorgeous woman stepped in front of him. 

    "Hey, hey, what's the matter? Where are you dragging me to? And might I add that you're adding a lot of pressure onto my wrist? It's going to leave marks, if you don't stop digging your fingers into my skin", Lyla lamented and that was when I realized that I was just moving without direction. I dropped her hands quickly and apologized.

     "Were you trying to avoid someone? Did something happen?" She looked around, trying to find the source of my bizarre behavior and her eyes hardened when she saw Adrian and the said woman together.
