Adrian's POV

    She was gone from my presence before I could send Fay away. I tried searching for her when another figure showed up in front of me. I closed my eyes and sent a silent prayer to the Moon goddess to give me the strength to not break someone's neck today. 

    I opened my eyes only to see Nathan in front of me grinning wildly. Must be nice to have someone you've always wanted as a mate as your mate. 

    He noticed that I wasn't mirroring his excitement and his smile disappeared and was replaced by a frown. "Who pissed in your cereal? You look like you're about to go on a killing spree", he observed and I took a deep sigh. 

   He wasn't the reason I lost sight of Lola,I did not need to take out my frustrations on him.

   "I was just disturbed by something, I'm fine. Where's your precious mate and why are you not with her?" I asked him. If I saw Lyla, I'd see Lola too. She's h
