I was enjoying my breakfast until I heard his mother mention Amber’s name. Suddenly, the food tasted like rubber, and I raised an eyebrow while waiting for him to respond. Of course, I couldn’t lift up my eyes because it would be embarrassing. So, I waited patiently.
