My eyes widened as I realized he had been awake the entire time! I slapped his arm for being a jerk, but he then yanked me to his body. I wanted to get away from him because it was too intimate, but he stopped me.

"Stefan, no!” I screamed at him.

"I can't sleep since you entered my bedroom, Chloe. Your sweet scent has made me lose my mind, and I'm so tempted right now to do something I shouldn't," he declared.

As I listened to him, I realized that it was wrong to visit him in his bedroom. Slowly, I got up from his bed and walked toward the door. Before opening it, I turned around to say goodbye. “It was wrong to come here, I’m sorry,” I told him. For a few seconds, I waited for his response but there was nothing, and he was just silent.
