The next day, JaeHwa made sure to prepare Kwan's favorite breakfast.
They were simple pancakes, but the secret was in the filling. The boy used to say that he loved the white sea of whipped cream, and had fun when they put small pieces of strawberry and banana.
It wasn't by far the healthiest breakfast I could offer, but JaeHwa served it with a smile on his face, watching Kwan carefully cut the small pieces to finally enjoy.
"Want me to cut it for you?" JaeHwa even asked, but little Jeon just denied it, having trouble cutting the dough with his slightly sharpened little knife with no point at all.
"It's okay, Daddy, I'll let you." the little one passed the plate to JaeHwa, annoyed with his own resourcefulness.
