Chapter 36

The days were passing by in a hurry.

Nine in total.

JaeHwa was standing once more in that room. It was late afternoon and I had just finished reading a new letter from Kwan to Hayoon.

That one was on orange paper. He placed it next to the blue one, but walked away, seeing the pink letter, the yellow one and even the green one, which had only one "I love you, come back soon", full of birds that Kwan had said were the first he had ever seen. and Hayoon had drawn together.

"You have a lot of drawings now, Hayoon. You'll have a lot of letters to read when you wake up." he commented, walking across the room.

He sat on the sill of the closed window and watched through the clear glass. People were beginning to wear thick coats, and the first snow would soon fall.

JaeHwa wished he could see her with Hayoon.

People on the street outside rushed by, while all that filled that room was calm and silence.
