Chapter 22. The Feast
"You know, my legs are shaking," Rosie shared her fear, standing next to Lyra in formation. Lyra's team stood against the right wall of the dark and damp underground mausoleum.
"Couldn't they find a better place to resurrect dead judges?" Rick asked from behind.
"And where do you think the dead should rest?" Steve spoke up.
"I don't know, why not in the daylight and a lavender grove?" Rick attempted to guess.
Everyone imagined the scene of three shriveled-up corpses standing up to pick bouquets and giving peace to the world. In a minute, the whole group was friendly and laughed. Adrian snapped at them angrily, calling for silence and not to shame the Academy's honor. After all, their opponents were standing on the other side with impeccable outfits, looking like stones, without any emotions on their faces.
