“The other tracker I connected is on the way to the airport,” a tech man announced.
“What airport?” I asked, unsure how long she had been mapping out her ridiculous plan.
“The one near here, sir,” he explained to me again.
I nodded in response and tapped him lightly on his shoulders, happy that I had done some digging today.
I walked hastily out of the research room and down toward my car, swearing inwardly to deal terribly with Sophie once I lay my hands on her.
“To the airport and no stops, then you drive fast, no questions asked,” I ordered the driver as soon as I got into the car.
He complied with my orders and drove fast. Soon enough, I was at the airport, and the speakers were blasting an announcement of the passengers getting ready to check in.
“Where is she now?” I asked over the call, connected to the Bluetooth device in my ear as I walked toward the checking session.
