Shopping with Jade was much more fun than reading a book inside. I thought she was pretending to be nice, but I discovered she could be a real sweetheart. I couldn’t be a bitch to her, not when she was being so sweet.

We paraded the mall hand in hand as we shopped for clothes, shoes, and some lingerie. All paid for by Ronan. I didn’t ask questions about their relationship, and carefully, she didn’t ask me either.
