Jade POV

I shook in fright as his hands tightened around my neck while we walked down. I heard Saint call my name and looked up to see him walking towards me, Alessandro following behind.

The house where I stayed was supposed to have been safe. But the whole area had gotten raided and they hadn't stopped until they found me. I was even more surprised when I saw the crazy woman, Lauretta walk into the house and shoot the man who was keeping an eye on me. I wondered how she stood before me, alive and uninjured after Saint had shot at her and I'd seen her drop to the ground.

The tears had streamed down as she instructed one of her guys to take me and I just wanted to die at that moment.
