Chapter 246. Murder
As usual from her lessons, Shehrzaad was returning home when she noticed Waqas standing midway. She squinted her eyes. Today his demeanor felt different. Her intuition was telling her something bad was going to happen. Inhaling her exasperation, she tried to walk forward when he stopped her way. His eyes depicted his lust, frustration, anger, and his raw want. Quizzical, she stopped dead in her tracks, meeting his snobbish stare.
"Enough with this cat and mouse chase, darling. Now either you accept my marriage proposal or we can spend our wedding night without it. Your call." He mocked, rotating a dagger in his hand. Horrified, Shehrzaad stepped back, causing him to snicker.
"Tick tock, darling." He began to pace near her, causing Shehrzaad to tremble furiously.
When Shehrzaad didn't offer him any response, he tsked.
