"How can you?" Zahra muttered under her breath. It was still unbelievable for her that she had to beg her grandfather to let under his roof. It was more surprising that he was putting condition infront of them now. That all made her wonder, even he had a heart in that broad chest of his? Or was it empty? Or was it full of hate? Would it be easy for him to kick them out if they didn't fulfil his condition?
Leave her mother, atleast she was his own blood. Yet he still showed that aloofness to him. The same cruelty that he was showing to her mother. It was understandable that he hated her mother but did he not love his son a bit to show her grand daughter some mercy?
