Leah’s POV

I really wanted to tell her, trust me, I did. I wanted to tell her so that all of this could be over. I wanted to tell her so I can leave this place…this hell. I wanted to tell her because I did not want to be tortured for people who could not even keep their word to me about protecting me. 

If they had only kept their word, I wouldn’t be here. I would have still been with my mom back In America. Maybe I would have met my friends again and started school. Maybe now, I would have been more focused on writing essays for my applications to university. 

But here I was, in a place that I hated…miles away from my mom.
