Leah’s POV

The door closed and I breathed out a sigh. He was gone, Rafael had just left the room. It was clear that he was just watching out for me. And I think I needed to remind myself that this was not a game, and that it was real life. 

Those people out there were dangerous, they were the kind of people who would kill or hurt others for fun. I think that needed to resonate with me even more. I could actually lose my life, and from the way things were looking, even Rafael would not be able to help me if I did not tune it down a bit and mind my business.
