Leah’s POV

A girl finding out that an attractive girl may like her or want to be with her is supposed to be one of the best feelings, right? It’s supposed to give her butterflies and make her feel like she was on top of the world. 

But that's not how I felt at the moment. After finding out that Rafael may like me and I’m the first one for him to treat differently, I should have been flattered. 

And maybe I was to an extent. But the truth remained that I felt like that was not a good thing. Especially for someone in my situation. Do you know what that meant for me? Do you have any idea how that would make it harder for me to go back to my life?

So I just stood there, trying to mentally chew on what had just happened. The woman had come in with an attitude and ready to chew me out, but had left happy and hopeful. I was happy for her, but not for myself.
