Chapter 61. A Talk with Mama Bear
Leah’s POV
The woman continued to pound on the door, not being even patient for me to open it. I walked towards it, already done using the few seconds that I could spare to practice what I was going to say to her.
Once I reached the door, I unlocked it and then opened it. As soon as I saw her, everything that I had practiced vanished from my head and I was just standing there.
“Get out of my way,” She said, pushing me aside as she walked in, her heels clicking on the marble tiles. She was dressed as if she was about to go somewhere. “We need to talk.” She stopped at the bed and sat on it, making sure to cross her legs.
I swallowed, closing the door and turning towards her, my heart pounding in my chest. “Of course.” I tried my best to look her in her eyes, all because she had told me that she’d rather that I do that.
