Chapter 63. Being Rude
Leah’s POV
Stares. They were all staring at me. And trust me, I was shocked by what I had just done too. But as I have said over and over, I needed to do it. It was a must.
I adjusted myself in my seat and kept my eyes on Rafael.
He chuckled dryly, putting his utensils down and narrowing his eyes at me. “Are you for real right now? You don’t have to be rude, Leah. If you don’t want to have anything nice to say, then keep your mouth shut.”
I rolled my eyes on purpose.
“Leah, what has gotten into you?” His mom joined the conversation. As for his dad, the man was staring at me in annoyance, almost as if it was left with me, I would have been taken away and shot in the head already.
“Nothing, I just don’t feel like talking to anyone about my feelings, is that so wrong?” I made sure to sound as disrespectful as possible.
