Leah’s POV
Once inside of the woman’s office, I sat down in a chair that was right in front of her desk. She was sitting behind her computer and seemed to be typing something. The silence in the space was loud, and it was that way for about a solid five minutes.
Then she finally lifted her head and locked eyes with me. She was stunning. Her eyes were seductive and so gray. They reminded me of a cat. “Leah Payne,” She said my name as if she was testing it on her tongue. “You are not the first or only American that goes here. Yet you have not even spent a week here and you have caused quite a stir.”
