Chapter 85. My First Real Kiss

Leah’s POV

The way he tried to calm me down, his hands touching me; his strength being shown ever so gently, that made me feel something deep in my gut that I could not explain. And the way his voice dropped low as he spoke my name. “Leah…” It sounded so good coming from him. 

And maybe it was because I was stressed or something so I was not thinking straight, because I stopped. I stopped fighting him or pushing him away and I let him hold me. He pulled me close to him and once we were not pushing and pulling each other again, it all went quiet. 

The car was literally on the road, but since we were almost in the middle of nowhere, there were almost no cars. 

He looked straight in my eyes and I could not help but look in his eyes. His breathing got more calm, but deeper though. And for a few seconds, it almost felt like we were breathing exactly the same, at the very same time too. 

“Are you done fighting?”
