Iris’s POV
Finally. Finally.
I screamed the words out loud, letting them echo in the small, suffocating space I had been forced to call home.
All thanks for Oliver.
My hands moved fast, stuffing the little I owned into a worn-out bag.
There wasn’t much to take—nothing here was ever really mine.
“What are you doing?” Oliver asked as he came in and saw me packing.
I turned to face him, rolling my eyes. “What does it look like I’m doing, Oliver? What do you see?”
He had the nerve to stand there, pretending like he didn’t know. His eyes moved to the half-packed bag, then back to me.
“You’re packing?” He said it like a question, like he needed me to spell it out for him.
I scoffed, shaking my head. “Of course! I’m fucking leaving.”
Oliver laughed. clearly mocking me but I wa sfarvahead of him.
