My whole body felt an instant rushing current. Then without making an eye contact he sat on his knees and took my both feet on his lap. I sat on the bed with my feet hanging on to his lap.

He quietly removed my flats and then looked directly into my eyes.

"Please forgive me princess. I know you suffered a lot but please baby just give me one chance. I promise I'll fix everything." He said softly whilst placing kisses on my feet.

My jaw dropped in shock and I pinched myself to confirm that was this dream or not?

He chuckled trailing his nose slightly on my bare feet evoking tingling sensation all over my body. "This is not the dream, princess."

My heart swelled up with happiness on hearing his old nickname for me.

Oh... Is this really happening?

"Forgive me princess for not being able to protect you from that monster." He added and that's when it was like someone had splashed a bucket of cold water over me.
