Chapter 72

REHAN POV 

I parted my eyes and found myself on my bed. Everything went silence, only the sound of my abnormal breathing was making some noise. I pressed my fingers over my forehead and found several sweat beads. For a minute, I stayed still trying to process that what actually happened.

Another nightmare?

I sighed in frustration and buried my face in the pillow trying again to sleep. But all in vain. There was no way in hell to ignore the truth that I was only able to sleep peacefully when I was in her arms. Without fear of the nightmare in her healing arms, ecstatic sleep had automatically followed. It was so beautiful. Everything was mesmerizing with her.

Like a dream.

Never had I felt that much happy in my life. It was like every nerve in me wanted to make peace with my past to savor the delight of living my today with her. I sat on the edge of the bed and unlocked my cell phone, instantly the wallpaper of her smiling face caught my sight.
