Chapter 40. Do You Want Some Candy?

Adele's POV

Chris drove silently to the park while I hummed continuously from where I sat.

"Are you that happy?" Chris's suddenly asked me and I turned my head to look at him.

"You have no idea," I replied with a chuckle before turning to face the road.

"What if I had not suggested it to you then?" He asked and I sighed.

"You can always tell me when you want to do something," Chris's started and I turned my head to look at him, "I hope you know that."

"I know," I started before moving my left hand towards his chin and pushing it slightly. "now, face the front and we won't have an accident."

Chris chuckled at my words and I smiled widely at what just transpired between us. I am growing fonder of Chris as the days passed. I am starting to get scared of it.
