Trish knew the proceeding of a summon, and she needed to get prepared for it. She had never been summoned in her entire life as a lawyer, and she had never summoned anybody before. Lawyers that she knows barely used the summon tactic because it is rare, and it is mostly rare occasions that a summon is usually used or when the person wants the trial to go fast so they can continue with their other business.

Trish knew that FBI agents are not always stable, so she thought maybe the FBI agents wanted to be fast with the case and get on to the next person he was going to oppress.

Everybody knew that when you are summoned, you need to be there; if not, there will be a penalty for it, and she had even forgotten what the penalty was because she wasn't really into law school when she was in her first, she was just there running from her stepfather that wanted to rape her, and her mother wasn't saying anything because they depended on him for their feeding.
