Beverley had prolonged nightmares. When she woke up in the morning, her whole body felt feverish. Her throat was sore, and both of her cheeks were swollen.

She groaned while holding her head. The memory of last night’s terrible incident immediately haunted her. She closed her eyes to calm down.
