Chapter 54. A Stunning Wedding Gift

Beverley had been lazing around in her room all day. She was embarrassed to go outside, especially since there were many of Brent’s kiss marks on her neck. She had compressed it with ice cubes and hoped the marks would disappear quickly.

After taking a shower in the afternoon, she immediately opened the wardrobe. Suddenly, her gaze caught the black paper bag on the top partition. Her forehead immediately creased.

“Since when is there a paper bag here? Did Brent keep it?”

Beverley became curious and wanted to take a look. She quickly got dressed before finally trying to retrieve the paper bag. The wardrobe was very tall, and it took a lot of effort for her to reach it.

A while later, she finally managed to pick up the paper bag. It was big and heavy. She became confused and curious. “What is this? Why did Brent keep it here?”

She peeked inside and saw a sizable black box. Beverley wanted to open it but didn’t. It’s better to ask Brent directly later.
