Orion's POV

The day of the wedding was final here and at the end of the day, the plan was to have Ciara back home with us, her family.

Everything has been planned down to the kind of steels we needed our swords to be forged from.

Our men had been training nonstop, tirelessly under the sun and even in the dark.

Ciara's freedom was only a battle away and the pressure was massive.

Anything could go wrong and then it would have all been for nothing.

“No, nothing will go wrong,” I scolded myself as I stood in front of the mirror.

If anything went wrong then Ciara could get killed before she even had a chance to reconnect with her family again.

The air in the room suddenly disappeared and the tie around my neck felt like a moose rather than a tir.

With a frustrated grunt, I tugged on the blue tie around my neck.

“You'd choke yourself if you pulled any harder Orion, relax,” Old Man Heartfield told me as he walked
