Orion's POV 

“How could you have left her there??!” I yelled once Old Man Heartfield was done explaining things to me. 

He rolled his eyes and leaned back in the seat. “Well for the last time, she's with Bryan so I'd say she's pretty safe.” 

And that was another thing I didn't understand. How could he have been so comfortable leaving them there like that?

From what he had told me about the Alpha Rogue King from years ago involving his sister plus the parts from a few days ago, I thought it was incredibly foolish and unwise to leave anyone with that man. 

He was dangerous and just that, he was also a psycho. How could he have left Bryan and Ciara with someone like that? 

Someone so unstable he was loving in denial and refused to accept that he had killed his mate all those years ago?
