Ciara’s POV

The children had been oblivious to my pain as they should have been but I had struggled to keep it together in their presence. Bryan being the sweet and loving partner he always was came around to help out. 

It was only with his help I was able to get through bedtime stories without bursting into tears. Orion’s sons had been attended to by Grandma Grace majorly because I couldn’t bring myself to look at them knowing they’d have to grow without their father because of me. 

Even if everyone said it wasn’t my fault, I still felt guilty and it kept eating at me slowly but surely every minute that passed.
