Chapter 42. A Strange Appreciation

Lillian's POV

"...Lillian, you are leaving already?" Hermes asked. He stopped walking when he got closer to us and smiled.

"Yes."

"Your hard work makes a difference, and your outstanding performance was incredible." He uttered and stretched a hand to give Aldrich a handshake.

Aldrich took his hand without any hesitation, and Hermes patted his shoulders. He let go of Aldrich and turned to me.

"I want to thank you for proving to everyone that the Royal family isn't weak, and you have proven yourself to be the Princess of our Pack." He sounded elated.

"You did great Lillian." He chuckled. "...and you should strive to become the Queen soon. You are already doing so well and I encourage you to put more effort into it and soon you'll be the Queen!"
