Chapter 65. A Night of Revelry

~Lillian's Pov~

I was feeling weary of the palace's affairs and decided to visit the largest tavern in the pack, I rarely appear in public and the townsfolk don't recognize me.

My driver was the one who told me about the tavern and he took me there, it was indeed large as he said, there was a dim light inside, and in the middle of the bar, a few people were dancing, swaying their bodies to the slow music that was blaring through the speaker.

I smiled, this was my first time being in such a place and I hope I get to forget about my worries and enjoy my night at this place.

I ordered a drink, and I was given a cocktail. I didn't know I was light-headed and with few glasses I was tipsy and getting drunk.

I drank more, and it seems our drink was mixed with something I can't say that got us drunk.
