I was lying on the altar with my eyes closed. I overheard a strange conversation Alpha Matthew was having.

I leaned closer to listen. Alpha Matthew was too focused on the conversation to notice any movement.

“I’m here to strike a deal with you, just as I have been doing. You can take her and give us half a month of clear weather. We can barely do anything because of the weather. Take it away, and you’ll have her.” Alpha Matthew bowed.
