Chapter 64. Brotherly Comfort

I was deeply disheartened watching Lilian walk away from us again, she had no idea how much I held back when she left our bedroom. I wanted to run after her the very minute.

We had different statuses being just the Beta we had no right to against Lillian or anything she said, but we were scared of being rejected by her, that's what we didn't want.

Her rejection.

I turned away from the front door when she was out of sight, I placed my hand on Arsenio's shoulders. As the older twin, I couldn't bear to see him so sad and upset, he could barely sleep the night Lillian left, I wasn't used to seeing him this way.

He was more cheerful than I was, and it hurt that he was hurting this much because of our mate.

"I'm sure she's gonna come around. She's just being upset. She will forgive us soon."

"You think so?" He furrowed his brows at me.

I nodded. "Her anger
