Chapter 84. A Reunion Amidst Despair

Aldrich’s POV

Arsenio and I were consumed with worry over Lillian’s imprisonment, and we were searching for a way to get her out of the dungeon. Since Hermes had forcefully seized power, things had become difficult for us.

But we weren’t going to leave Lillian there for long. We had planned to get her out, and that was exactly what we intended to do.

“Fuck, it seems as if everything went out of plan,” Arsenio grunted and punched the wall. We were still in turmoil over what had happened.

“We have to pull it back together. We have to think about Lillian.”

“Thinking about her is driving me insane. I keep wondering how she’s feeling in that dungeon, if something has happened to her, or if she’s being harassed. I’m having too many thoughts, Aldrich.” He groaned and hit the wall again.
