Chapter 12. You Drive Me Insane

Freya’s POV

“Oh god!” I shrieked, standing before Rufus. He had left the bathroom as I was about to try the door. “I’m sorry Mr. Crimson,” my eyes averted from the gorgeous sight of his half naked body dripping in water from the shower.

“It’s alright Freya,” Rufus said with a chuckle. “And there’s no need to be so formal, Rufus will do.”

“Mr. Crimson,” I repeated as my eyes meet his sheepishly. “When I’m in your house, I address you as so because you’re the Alpha of this home, and pack.”

I heard Rufus grunt, his fingers grasped at the towel around his waist, tightening it as he did. “Freya,” he husked my name as his cheeks turned slightly red with frustration. “You can’t act like this around me.”
