Chapter 15. Uninvited Guest

Freya’s POV

“Thanks for letting me vent,” I said to Sienna. “I appreciate having you here.”

“Pft,” Sienna replied. “It’s what I’m here for,” she paused. “And to look really sexy,” she pouted as she tossed her dark hair in the mirror. “And besides, you’re way too good for Nathan. If you could date another guy, who would you go for?”

“Hmmm,” I thought out loud. “Someone like your Dad, he’s sweet, kind and sort of cute.”

“Ew,” Sienna screwed up her face. “You’re disgusting.”

As we fell into laughter, we were caught by the sound of knocking on the bedroom door. “Come in!” Sienna yelled.

“Hey girls,” Rufus stood in the doorway and smiled. I noticed how handsome he looked, he scrubbed up well after showering. Wearing a smart shirt with a pair of jeans and a black suit jacket. His cologne smelt incredible. “How do I look?”

“Do you have a date?” Sienna asked as she frowned at her Father. “That’s usually the only time you make an effort.”
