Freya’s POV

“Boarding Call for Flight 754 to Hawaii. Passengers please proceed to gate 22.”

The cheery tone of the feminine voice called out around me. I felt my stomach turn with sickness, bile stung my throat, and as I took a glance at Nathan, I knew this wasn’t what I wanted after all.

The voice spoke a second time. “Boarding Call for Flight 754 to Hawaii…”

“Freya?” Nathan asked, breaking me from focusing on the announcement voice. “Is everything okay? You’re face has turned so pale.”
